Jean Fletcher Solo Show

  • Ad Lib Gallery 10 Church Road London, England, SW19 5DL United Kingdom (map)

Jean Fletcher's Solo Exhibition 'Beautiful Moments' will take place at Ad Lib Gallery in Wimbledon Village from 16 - 26 March 2023, with over 50 of her paintings in the show.

These unique and uplifting works include magnificent landscapes of the United Kingdom, Italy and France, and captivating views of Majorca. They also include paintings of dancers, families on beaches and other wonderfully observed paintings of figures, reflecting Jean’s detailed study of the human form. The show includes some local scenes, specially selected for this exhibition too. As well as oil paintings, the works also include expressive plein air paintings in gouache.

Jean studied painting at the Regional College of Art, Manchester and at Hornsey College of Art, London. She also taught painting in Manchester, London and Cape Town. Jean places a particular emphasis on the continuing study of the human form, reflected in her love of painting figures on the beaches of St Tropez and beyond. Jean’s paintings can be found in private collections in the United Kingdom, Europe and the USA, purchased and owned by a wide variety of clients ranging from corporations to private individuals, and even a Hollywood actor. Jean’s commissioned pieces include paintings for Fenwicks of Bond Street, Fenwicks Canterbury and Cheshire Life Magazine.
