Sofia Lucas

Sofia Lucas is a Portuguese artist who delves primarily in abstract themes, using a variety of materials and techniques including acrylic paint, oil pastels and collage over canvas and paper. Having studied Communication Design in Lisbon's Faculdade de Belas Artes, Sofia Lucas worked for several years in advertising before devoting herself to painting full-time.

Throughout her artistic career, Sofia Lucas had taken part in group exhibitions, while also showcasing her work in some individual exhibitions.

Her work can be found around the world, in private collections in countries such as Portugal, Spain, UK, France, USA, Canada, China and Japan.
