Nathalie Kingdon is a French-born, London-based printmaker working from her studio at Wimbledon Art Studios. Specialising in original screenprints, she combines traditional hand-pulled techniques with digitally manipulated imagery to create works that feel both nostalgic and sharply contemporary.

Drawing on imagery sourced from photography, film stills and personal archives — often inspired by the light and atmosphere of the South of France — Nathalie reimagines familiar scenes through bold colour fields, graphic forms and unexpected shifts in scale. Circles, gradients and layered transparencies interact with figurative elements, creating compositions that balance precision with playfulness.

Her work carries a distinct retro sensibility — echoing the optimism and visual language of the 1970s — while remaining fresh, minimal and modern. Joyful, uplifting and quietly cinematic, each print invites the viewer to reconsider the narrative within the image.

Blending analogue and digital processes, Nathalie continues to expand the language of contemporary printmaking.

In 2024, she was selected to exhibit her screenprint One-Piece at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, where the edition sold out shortly after release.
