Moody Rabbit

Hannah Goggs is the artist and creative force behind Moody Rabbit, a distinctive multidisciplinary practice celebrating the colour, character and beauty of the natural world. Working from her studio in Queensland, Australia, Hannah creates an evolving collection of original paintings, ceramics, textiles and homewares, bringing together her love of Australian flora and fauna with a playful, whimsical sensibility.

A passionate gardener and avid birdwatcher, Hannah draws much of her inspiration from the unique landscapes, native botanicals and birdlife that surround her. Her work reflects a deep appreciation for the intricate details of nature, from the delicate forms of wildflowers and foliage to the distinctive character of Australia's native birds. These subjects are brought to life through expressive mark-making, considered compositions and a distinctive use of colour, with soft pinks, muted greens and gentle neutrals often lending her work a sense of warmth and nostalgia.
