Katharine Rowe
Katharine Rowe is a London-based artist renowned for her use of colour. Working from her home studio in Wimbledon, Katharine is a self-described colourist.
Her creative process often involves spending considerable time mixing paints to achieve deliberate and impactful brushstrokes. She primarily uses Michael Harding oil paints for their unparalleled colour quality and prefers linen canvases for their texture.
Katharine predominately paints landscapes but also loves to work with portraiture, still-lifes and florals. Being a huge dog lover, she also enjoys painting canine portraits (or any other animal!) and was profiled in The Sunday Telegraph as ‘Britain’s most sought-after dog artist’.
Katharine’s work has been featured in various exhibitions and publications and her work is held in collections internationally.
Notably, Katharine participated in Sky Portrait Artist of the Year, in 2020.
