EMily Bunn

Emily Bunn is an artist and illustrator inspired by the natural world, and the pastoral English landscapes she grew up in Cottesbrooke, Northamptonshire. Emily creates whimsical, colourful bespoke illustration and original artwork.

From hand-painted illustrations, ceramics and murals to unique creations for life’s big and small moments, every piece reflects the joy she finds in the natural world. Emily often weaves metaphor and words through her work alongside oil paint explorations of natural flora.

Emily began her art practice in 2019. Having grown up in rural England, she had little knowledge of how to become an artist. She went on to study History of Art at Leeds University and started her career in the art world in communications roles in esteemed cultural institutions. It was whilst working at the Royal Academy of Arts that she learnt what it is that artists do all day. Now, she balances her creative work alongside her role at VOLTA, an international art fair.
